Cutting list & optimizer

Fewer sheets, less waste, no guessing at the saw.

Xtudio lays the parts of a job out on your sheets, tells you how many sheets to buy and how much you will waste, and prints a cutting list your team can follow.

What it does

A clear parts list

Every part with its size, quantity, material, grain direction and which edges get banding.

Optimized sheet layouts

Parts are arranged on each sheet to use as much of it as possible, respecting the grain.

Sheet count and waste

Know how many sheets the job needs and the waste percentage before you order material.

Reusable offcuts

Large offcuts are marked so you can keep them for the next job instead of throwing them away.

Printable PDF with labels

Print the layouts and part labels so every piece is easy to identify after cutting.

Generous on the Free plan

The optimizer is not locked behind a paid plan. It stays generous on the Free plan.

Questions workshops ask

Does it respect wood grain?
Yes. Parts marked with a grain direction are never rotated against it on the sheet.
Can I cut on a panel saw or by hand from the printout?
Yes. The PDF shows each sheet with part sizes and labels, which works at a panel saw, a table saw or the workshop bench.
Is the optimizer limited on the Free plan?
It stays generous on the Free plan. The Free plan limits the number of active jobs, not how well your sheets are used.
